According to market reports, the hot-rolled coil prices in Turkey declined by $20/ton in the last week, as buyers continue to remain cautious and observe the market closely. As a result, some local steel mills in Turkey have started to adjust their quotes downward.
For instance, the domestic selling price of hot-rolled coil from Izmir Steel Mill is currently around $850/ton EXW, with a further discount of $20/ton for large quantity orders. Meanwhile, other local steel mills are quoting around $870/ton, which is still higher than the current market transaction price of $840/ton.

The company has already started collecting orders for April and May. In addition to its existing inventory, MMK Metalurji is actively procuring scrap steel to meet production requirements.
